Who you are agreeing with

This app is provided by Ristep Studio, established in Italy. Using it means accepting what is on this page. If you do not accept it, do not use the app — and write to pistol@ristep.studio if something here is the reason.

What the app is

A training-analysis tool for ISSF pistol shooting. You record your sessions shot by shot; it computes statistics from them and shows you what they support.

It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical, psychological or health advice. It does not diagnose anything, treat anything or monitor anything for a clinical purpose.

The app records how you slept and how you felt because those things move with performance, and it reports whether they moved with yours. That is a description of your own numbers, not a finding about your health. If something in your health concerns you, ask a doctor, not an app.

The statistics are honest about their own limits by design: below the sample size a claim would need, the app shows the raw number and says why it will not draw a conclusion from it. It reports association, never cause. Read it that way.

Accounts

• Anyone may create an athlete account. Coaches join only through an invitation an athlete sends them — coaching access is something an athlete grants, never something you can give yourself.
• One account is either an athlete account or a coach account, and it cannot be both.
• You are responsible for your password and for anything done from your account. Use a password you use nowhere else.
• Tell us at once if you think someone else has got in. Changing your password signs every other session out.
• The app is not intended for under-16s. A younger athlete's account must be set up by whoever holds parental responsibility.

Your data is yours

You own what you record. We claim no rights over your scores, your notes or your ratings, and we do not use them to train anything, sell anything or advertise anything.

• Export everything, as a file, whenever you want. No request, no waiting.
• Delete your account and everything in it, whenever you want.
• Nobody sees your training data unless you invite them and grant them the specific access. A coach can never change it.

How all of that is handled in detail is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

What you must not do

• Do not try to reach another person's data, or test whether you can, on the live app. If you find a way, tell us — quietly and first.
• Do not automate sign-in attempts or hammer the app with scripted requests.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or a profile photo that is not yours to use.
• Do not share an invitation link with someone it was not meant for. It is a credential.

Availability, and what we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We try to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of defects, or that every statistic will suit every purpose you have for it.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export button exists for exactly this.

Liability

We are liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer.

Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data where you could have exported it, or for a decision you took about your training or your health on the basis of a number in this app.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings, which removes your data. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or another user, and we will say why unless telling you would defeat the point.

Changes

If these terms change in substance you will be asked to accept the new version rather than assumed to have agreed. The version and date are at the top of the page.

Law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
